Disappointed.

Not worth the money at all. Considering it's made in china anyway, for this price you could get a very good bushcraft knife.

I actually bought this years ago but lost it, that's why I bought it again, because back then the QUALITY was SO much better**

Blade was polished , Better steel, more blade depth, more handle depth, AND a much thicker blade. Probably why they don't mention the thickness but it used to be much thicker!

also handle is short in length and slight defect towards the shaft of the blade. It says FULL-TANG and technically it is, but typically that means all the steel is one piece, in this case the mid shaft/thumb guard part is actually just glued into place! The tiny copper dowel some cm's away from it is not enough to provide structural support for even the lightest of wood cutting Imo.

Overall, disappointed with the decline in quality from Whitby and terrible ergonomics of a knife that should be half the cost.

Oh, and lastly, the drop-point style/shape that I recall was superior to whatever I received this time, it's almost a machete shape, which is useless for this size and weight of knife.
